Rent and the deposit go by bank transfer to the company your tenancy agreement is with, Fuse Living Kft. in Budapest (at Gát utca 19, the building's landlord, SaniTóth Novum Kft.) or SIA Fuse Hotel Latvia in Riga, and the deposit is held in a separate account and returned within 30 days of move out. Fuse (fusestays.com) is run by Fuse Stays BV, a company registered in Belgium (company number 1023.053.654), and is rated 4.4 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 59 reviews, read on 22 October 2026. Choose a room and your dates: contracts start on the 1st or the 15th of a month, for 5, 6, 10 or 12 months. 2. Upload your ID and proof of your reason for staying (studies, an internship, a job or an exchange). Nothing is paid at this stage. 3. Your documents are checked before you pay anything. If your booking ends at that stage, nothing is charged. 4. Once approved, you see your contract at a glance: your room, dates, rent, deposit and the 7 days to change your mind. Then you pay the €295 membership fee by card, on Stripe's secure payment page. Your room is held from the moment this payment goes through. 5. Right after you pay, you read and sign your tenancy agreement on our page, with a code we email you. You have 48 hours to sign. 6. Pay the first month's rent and the deposit before you move in. They are two bank transfers, to two different accounts. 7. When you pay the membership fee, payment is processed directly by our payment provider (Stripe). The fee is kept. * After that, before you move in: your first month rent comes back, the deposit and fee do not. * Plans change after move in? Pass your contract to someone eligible for a €50 takeover fee. * Visa refused? Send us the official rejection letter within 7 calendar days of the refusal. You get your deposit and any rent back in full, and the €295 fee becomes a credit valid for 12 months. If we cancel for a reason that is not your fault, for example because a unit becomes unavailable, you get a full refund of everything you have paid us, membership fee included. No. You upload your ID and proof of your reason for staying first, and your documents are checked before you pay anything. If your booking ends at that stage, nothing is charged. ### How do I know I am paying the real Fuse? The €295 membership fee is paid by card, on Stripe's secure payment page. Each payment request comes with the exact amount and bank details, and you can ask us at support@fusestays.com or on WhatsApp before you pay. ### What if my visa is refused? Visa refused? Send us the official rejection letter within 7 calendar days of the refusal. You get your deposit and any rent back in full, and the €295 fee becomes a credit valid for 12 months. ### When do I get my deposit back? Within 30 days of move out, minus any deductions. It is held in a separate account by the company your tenancy agreement is with, and anything deducted is itemised. ### Can I change my mind after signing? Yes, within 7 calendar days of signing your tenancy agreement: email support@fusestays.com, and your deposit and any rent you have paid are refunded in full.
