# Erasmus housing in Budapest

Erasmus housing in Budapest with Fuse: furnished, all-inclusive rooms from €475 a month on a 5 month contract, which fits one semester or an Erasmus exchange. Contracts start on the 1st or the 15th of a month, and you book online from abroad: you upload your ID and proof of your reason for staying, and pay nothing until they are checked. On top of rent you pay a €295 membership fee once and a deposit of two times the base monthly rent. Fair use applies in Budapest: if the utilities of your room or flat go above €70 in a month, the extra can be charged. At Gát utca 19 the allowance is 150 kWh of electricity and 5 m³ of water a month; use above that can be charged.

Fuse prices come from the live listings, checked on 23 October 2026.

## Booking from abroad

Booking is online, with no viewing needed. Every room page shows photos, the price for each contract length and the move in dates.

1. Choose a room and your dates: contracts start on the 1st or the 15th of a month, for 5, 6, 10 or 12 months.
2. Enter your details and press Continue: your booking is saved and you go straight on to your documents.
3. Upload your ID and proof of your reason for staying (studies, an internship, a job or an exchange). Nothing is paid at this stage.
4. Once approved, pay the €295 membership fee to hold your room.
5. Sign your tenancy agreement online, on our page, right after you pay.
6. Pay the first month's rent and the deposit before you move in.

The two documents you upload:

* A valid government-issued ID (passport or national ID card)
* A document evidencing the purpose of your stay, issued by a recognized institution, for example, a university admission or enrollment letter, internship agreement, employment contract or offer letter, volunteering agreement, or exchange program confirmation

Visa refused? Send us the official rejection letter within 7 calendar days of the refusal. You get your deposit and any rent back in full, and the €295 fee becomes a credit valid for 12 months.

In Budapest your tenancy agreement is with Fuse Living Kft., except at Gát utca 19, where it is with the building's landlord, SaniTóth Novum Kft. Rent and deposit go by bank transfer to that company, and the membership fee is paid by card.
